Yugantar, the first Youth Festival of CVM University was held from 12th to 14th October, 2022. Team GCET participated in all the 24 AIU and 5 Non AIU events. GCET stood first in Classical Vocal (Solo), Classical Instrumental – Percussion (Solo), Classical Instrumental – Non Percussion (Solo) , Light Vocal (Solo), Western Vocal (Solo), Western Instrumental (Solo), Folk Orchestra, Skit and Folk Dance competitions. Secured second position in Indian Group Song, Western Group Song, Mimicry, Poster Making, Collage Making and Rangoli events. GCET was awarded third position in Debate and Elocution competitions. Winning first prize in 9 events, second in 6 events and third in 2 events, by scoring total 77 points GCET lifted the prestigious overall championship trophy. Moreover GCET was declared as Champions in the Music and Dance categories as well. In addition to this GCET also won most of the Non AIU events. The team secured first position in Antakshari and Scene-e-Magic, Second position in Dumb Charades and Third in Treasure Hunt competitions. The hard work and channelized efforts made this possible. The team of 36 students was working with enthusiasm for last 1.5 months after the college hours. The student leaders were Nayan Kadchha, Aayush Lad, Deep Karia, Jeel Shah, Jhanvi Thakkar and Vidhi Parekh. They took lot of responsibilities for building up a good team. Alumni of the institute Jil Patel, Jenil Bhatt, Shubham Gor were a great support to the cultural team of GCET. The team was mentored by the Cultural Coordinator of the College Dr. Yogesh A. Chauhan and supported by Prof. Sneh Vyas. The successful execution would not have been possible without the continuous support and motivation from the Principal and CVM authorities.

15 Students of final year, 2 Mentors and 5 seniors with the support of Principal Sir created history by emerging as First Runners Up with a huge score of 66 points in the VVNagar Zonal– Xitij 2022 GTU Youth Festival, held at SVIT, Vasad during 15th to 16th September, 2022. Team GCET also lifted the Championship trophy of Theatre Category by winning first position in One Act Play and Skit events. GCET participated in 20 AIU & 2 Non AIU events and won positions in 15 AIU & both Non AIU events. GCET was awarded first position in 7 events, second position in 8 events and third position in 2 events. Due to the students' perseverance, passion, dedication, and focus throughout the marathon practice sessions and performances, a significant victory was made possible with such a tiny team. The team leaders were Nayan Kadchha, Aayush Lad, Deep Karia, Jeel Shah, Jhanvi Thakkar and Vidhi Parekh. Alumni of the institute Jil Patel, Shubham Gor and Jenil Bhatt supported the team to achieve this milestone. The team was mentored by the cultural coordinator Dr. Yogesh A. The topic of debate was " In the opinion of the house Face to Face Interactions with Professors is more Effective than Online Sessions and Lectures". GCET lifted overall first runners up trophy at Volcano-2020

GCET lifted overall first runners up trophy in the ‘Amul Volcano’2020’, an intercollegiate cultural festival consisting of 25 events. The event was organized by Rotary Club Round Anand Round Town, Anand in collaboration with Anand Nagarpalika from 12th to 16th February, 2020. Out of 25 events GCET acquired first prize in Scene-E-Magic, Short film making, Digital Miniature hoarding, Skit, Antakshari & Light Vocal; second position in Indian Group, Personality contest (Male), On the spot painting, Mime & Poster making and third position in Ad Enactment, Folk Dance, G.K. Quiz, Debate and Dumb Charades. Overall TEAM GCET secured 41 points. Thus by winning first in 6, second in 5 and third in 5 events. 34 colleges from the surrounding locality took part in the said event. It is a matter of pride for the college that GCET won first prize in light vocal (solo) for the fifth consecutive time in Volcano. Also in the event of Scene-e-Magic GCET is unbeaten right from when the event was started in 2012. GCET won first prize in this event for nine consecutive years. A team of 37 students was led by the student leaders- Shubham Kakkad, Jaimin Patel, Akanksha Chauhan, Tanay Tewar, Divyang Patel, Shubham Gor, Mitanshu Barot and Vaibhavi Lakhani Dr. Yogesh Chauhan coordinated all the events and mentored the team of volcano. A team of three students comprising of Viraj Naik, Tathya Joshipura and Arif Khan became first runners up in Bollywood quiz out of 46 teams from all over Gujarat. A team comprising of Tanmay Mehta , Jaynil Pandya and Zalak Modi secured second runners up position in General Quiz competition out of more than 60 teams from all over Gujarat. The quiz was organized by Institute of Language Studies & Applied social Sciences (ILSASS) on 21st January, 2020. |

West Zone Inter University Youth Festival was held from 27th to 31st December, 2019 at Uka Tarasadia University. In a team of 42 students from the entire GTU, five students were selected from GCET. Viraj Naik performed in One Act, Skit & Mime, Jenil Bhatt performed in Western Instrumental- Solo & Western Group Song,, Harsh Prajapati in Indian & Wetern Group Song, Purvish Upadhyay was a participant in Mime and Shubham Gor performed as an accompanist in Indian & Western Group Song and Western Vocal- Solo events. GCET qualified for 13 AIU and 1 Non AIU events in the GTU Interzonal Youth Festival, Xitij-2019. GCET secured first position in Non AIU event Paad Purti. In the AIU events TEAM GCET gave splendid performances and won first prize in Mime and Western Instrumental- Solo events. Secured second position in Skit and Poster making events and third position in Folk Orchestra event. Overall GCET became Second Runners Up. Its a matter of pride that it also lifted overall theater category championship trophy. GCET lifted overall first runners up trophy in the Amul Volcano’2019, an intercollegiate cultural festival consisting of 32 events. The event was organized by Rotary Club, Anand Round Town, Anand in Town Hall in collaboration with Anand Nagarpalika from 11th to 17th February, 2019. Out of 32 events GCET won first prize in Vocal-Solo, Ad Enactment, Skit, On the spot painting & Scene-e-Magic, second prize in Antakshari, G.K.Quiz, Folk Orchestra, Western Group Song, Poster Making & Face Painting and third prize Indian Group Song, Classical Dance, Debate, Folk Dance, Voice, Personality Contest- male, Street Play and Collage making events. Thus by winning first in 5, second in 6 and third in 8 events; Scoring 43 points GCET won the title of First Runners up. 35 colleges from the surrounding locality took part in the said event. Tej Patel, Rohan Bharadia, Aatman Desai, Hari Desai, Aneri Shah, Disha Vaghmasi, Aditi Nanda and Jignesha Barot were the team leaders. Dr. Yogesh Chauhan coordinated all the events of volcano. She won position in Volcano'16,17,18 & 19. With this Viraj is now qualified to participate in the All India (National) Inter University Youth Festival to be held at Ranchi, Jharkhand in the month of February, 2018. Along with Viraj who also played a major role in the event of Folk Orchestra, three other students from GCET were a part of GTU team. They were Tanay Tewar in One Act Play, Skit and Mime; Aditi Nanda in One Act Play and Folk Orchestra and Harsh Prajapati in Western Group Song.
